Bachelor thesis is focused on the designing of the strategy (recommendation) for the support of weekend stays in Brno. The theoretical part concentrates on tour-ism, tourism marketing, strategic marketing and marketing mix. In the practical part is an analysis of the current state of attendance in Brno, revealing profile of present-day visitor. The thesis also includes an analysis of current offers of week-end stays. Based on the findings is designed strategy with regard to the typical segments and different seasons, including a proposal of weekend packages for the segments, including promotion. The conclusion contains evaluation and recom-mendations for the city of Brno in the future.
Comparison of strategic communication of main city Prague and Czech Republic towards non-Czech and Czech public within celebrations of 100. anniversary establishment of Czechoslovakia

This thesis is focused on destination marketing. At first it explains the characteristic of this kind of marketing, its goals, target groups, potential problems and communication aspects which are represented especially by events and attractions. Theoretic part follows description of two Czech communication agencies (nationwide CzechTourism and Prague City Tourism from the capital city), when both of them are focused on propagation either the whole state, or just Prague. Third chapter then discusses and compares communication and marketing activities of both agencies, which happened last year to promote the 100th anniversary of founding Czechoslovakia and following important events. Practical part is constructed by a quantitative questionnaire survey, which is examining the awareness about celebrations of the historical jubilee between the Czech and foreign inhabitants of the Czech Republic.
New Media in Promotion of Destination

The aim of the bachelor thesis was to analyze especially the new media and how to use them in marketing communication of destinations. The aim of work was met by using quantitative research, which was made. Based on the results of a quantitative research was designed a communication mix using new media.
Application of destination management in the area of Beroun

The thesis deals with the application of destination management in the area of Beroun which is located in the Central Bohemia Region. Nowadays there is no organization of destination management which operates and promotes this area. The aim of this thesis is to analyse the area and mainly to create an organization of destination management which would deal with the tourism development in the area of Beroun. Next aim of this thesis is to set up the advertising strategy.

The Brdy-Vltava destination lies in Central Bohemia region between the Brdy highlands and the river Vltava and has potential for tourism. But nowadays there is no organization of destination management and promotion. Promotion is not unified and coordinated. The purpose of this thesis is to propose which organisation should deal with management and promotion of the destination. The other aim is to propose activites of promotion and management and a way how to increase awareness of the destination. The author use the information not only from related literature but also from work experience for the town of Dobříš and Local action group Brdy-Vltava o.p.s.
The analysis of Norway tourism and it's relationship to the Czech Republic

Diploma thesis deals with an analysis of tourism of Norway and relationship with the Czech Republic. A common charakteristic of destination Norway and it's corporate environment and approximation to marketing of destination as a general concept are part of the diploma thesis. The analysis of incomming and outgoing tourism of Norway, relationship with Czech Republic and promotion of Norway in our country is a practical part of the diploma thesis. The purpose of these thesis is to set apart Norway from statistics, analyses and charakteristics all of the Scandinavien countries and to make an analysis of the situation of Norway tourism with reference to the Czech Republic.
